“Human & Science”-Keynote Speaker @ Chroma

As a keynote speaker, my travel is fun, joyful, and educational. One must learn to earn and earn to learn. During COVID, I did not travel, and now I have started traveling and feel “Traveling is my home”.

Being a monk means knowing how to travel, learn, share, and enrich life.

I was lovingly invited by Shanker Sundaralingam, HR Head, BMW Plant, and he told me the context of my talk, i.e., “Human and Science” for Chroma’s HR imagery 2022 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai on April 30th, 2022.

The challenge HR people are facing is that working from home has made people productive, but they have lost their “human touch”. Technology has been productive, but is it upward or downward for humans?keynote speaker

Is the development of technology making life easier or harder? Are virtual humans effective?

I was the keynote speaker for this HR conclave. The audience was elite and intellectual. I was introduced to how I was a Corporate Guru and how I had been updated in technology, apart from being the author of 119 books in multiple languages and being a black belt in martial arts. The audience was anxious to hear me. I felt so grateful to my Guru and parents for making me who I am. With a deep sense of gratitude, I inspired the audience, and it landed with great appreciation as a keynote speaker.

Every situation has its own opportunities and struggles. The ability to adopt is a skill. It has its challenges and struggles. One must learn to adopt technology. There is resistance to adopting because there is no openness to learning. One must “let go and let in”. To be trapped in what we know is different from knowing, where our knowledge does not bind us up but gives us openness to explore.

When there is a struggle to understand technology and produce results through technology, one undergoes stress. I asked the audience what POP is. Only one person answered. I told them it was Post Office Protocol. It is a computer network application layer internet standard protocol used by e-mail clients to retrieve email from a mail server.

What is the spiritual significance of it?

POP for me is POCKETS OF PEACE. Can we create pockets of peace in our lives? When there is tension to learn and adopt due to age, our habits create “pockets of peace.” I thought they knew how. First get concept clarity, and then action clarity.

As a keynote speaker I had made my points clear, After the talk the HR head came to me with tears in his eyes and told me how my books had changed his life. He told me he had habits, but I changed them to winning and learning habits. This mindset change brought about a quantum leap in his performance.

People rushed to me for selfies. A person was about to hug me but stopped and touched my feet. He said my talk gave a different perspective. He felt we were lost in “high tech,” but you had taught with “high touch.” Your words had the power to move my heart, and again he touched my feet.

People are head-oriented rather than heart-oriented. To balance head and heart is a great art and skill.

Mr. X came and told me in private that his personal life was a mess, despite being productive. I told him to plan purposefully, prepare prayerfully, proceed positively, and produce productively. “How to plan?” he asked again. People were rushing to take my photos with them. His question was more important than the photos the others wanted. I pushed my way to a corner and told him to participate in my CXO program, which I am running for CEOs, COOs, CTOs, and CFOs. I told him I would teach you “workflowy,” a beautiful step in planning. If one does not plan, one perishes.

In rushing back to the airport, Mr. Sriram forgot to put my luggage in the trunk of my car. Reaching the airport, we realized that we had to call the hotel, and identifying my new suitcase was easy because I had put a red ribbon on it. We had planned for some errors in case something happened, and that was a savior. See how planning works. I told Sri Ram. The driver brought the suitcase so efficiently that it touched my heart. I felt the heart of education is the education of the heart. High tech must be combined with a high level of touch and trust
